Bansko ski season 2018/19 opening event

On the 15th of December, in merely less than 24 days and counting, will be the official opening of the premier Bulgarian ski resort – Bansko. The start of the spectacular event will be given by the Olympic and World Champion Patrick Ortlieb from Austria. There are a lot of fun activities planned for the highly anticipated happening – the formal start of the ski season. Fresh snow that has fallen last Sunday and Monday gave hopes that some of the ski runs may open even before declared winter season kick-off date. How many ski runs will be open before and at the grand opening remains a business case for fortunetellers. The solid facts are that at the moment there is snow cover on the higher pistes and the snow cannons there are working in full capacity. Ulen, the owner of the lifts, promises that the gondola will start operating on the 1st of December. These are not the only good news coming from Ulen. This season the company has taken the decision to stop using plastic products in the Ski Zone Bansko!
Our team is longing for the new ski season, for which we are already fully prepared.

See you very soon!

Some of my intentions are to shed light over small businesses in the area that are doing their best to preserve the local traditions and provide good and environmentally friendly services.
