Welcome back with the weekly snow report from Bansko. Do not worry, winter is still here and we are looking to see you on the slopes!
Snow and Slopes
The overall condition of the snow is still very good, especially in the morning rides. Slopes are quite firm in the mornings (as today includes), but the snow gets wet and slushy in the afternoons in the lower parts of the resort. The Ski road is still fine, however with some dark spots here and there. There aren’t too many people on the pistes, no crowds on the lifts, either. However, be careful on the Tomba slope. Sometimes some skiers decide to try this black slope, but unfortunately, their skiing skills are not ready for it yet.
Lifts and Slopes
All slopes are open except for Tsarna Mogila, Chalin Valog 1 and 2 and Ski Road 2.
All lifts are open except for Chalin Valog, Vlek Chalin and Tsarna Mogila.
Weather Forecast
New snow is expected for Sunday (17.03) after 2 pm. Wind will be generally light with freeze-thaw conditions with maximum 1°C on Sunday afternoon and min -4°C on Friday night.
