The new snow report is here. Get the updates and enjoy the slopes in Bansko.
Snow and Slopes
The snow and skiing conditions have been excellent during the whole week. New fresh snow of around 2-3 cm was enjoyable on Thursday morning.
Be careful on the Ski road, as some areas were not groomed.
As an overall description of the current snow and slopes (due to the warmer temperatures yesterday (22.02) and today (23.02) is that mornings, and up until 2 pm conditions are good. However, snow gets wetter and softer (slushy even) after that.
One good advice is to have your sunscreen lotion with you.
Open Slopes
All slopes are still open except for Tsarna Mogila and Ski road 2.
Open Lifts
All lifts are open, too, except for Detska Kotva and Tsarna Mogila.
The queue on the Gondola bottom station this morning was 30 to 40 min, which was pretty ok, considering it is still February. We can definitely say that with the half-term being over, the big crowds are gone, however, the resort is still busy.
Weather Forecast
New snow of 2.2cm (0.9in) and 3.1cm (above 2100 m), are expected on Sunday the 25th (after 8 AM). Overall freeze-thaw conditions (max 2°C on Saturday (24.02) morning and min -1°C on Sunday (25.02) morning). Wind will be generally light.
