We are back with a new snow report after a while. Unfortunately, the news aren’t as good as I wish them to be. It already feels like spring despite February is usually snowy and cold. There is no new fresh snow since almost a month. The temperatures were far above 0°C during the whole month. Of course, the results were seen immediately. Тhe snow cover is melting, there are more and more black spots, especially in the lower parts of the mountain. Because of Women International Day, celebrated on the upcoming 8th of March, Bulgarian people say March is a women’s month. It changes the women’s moods. Therefore, I expect and wish that in every snow report this month I’ll write about totally different skiing conditions.

It’s hard to say that conditions could be perfect with that high temperatures. Slopes are groomed overnight. If you want to take the most of your trip, go up the mountain as early as possible. Since Saturday, waiting time in the ski zone is bearable- less than 20 minutes at the busiest time: nothing to do with last week’s queueing (around 3-4 hours eveyrday). If you want to ski this year, now it’s the time to book! March is always surprising us, so I am sure that this month the situation will get much better.
