Our weekly snow report is here. It can be summed up in the words: Bansko that we know so well. The long queues are back. There was snowfall this week also in town. Opening the ski road now looks possible. Waiting time in the morning is up to 30-40 minutes, depending on the time you go to the gondola. The bad news come in the afternoon. Yesterday’s working time of the gondola was prolonged, because of the hurrendous queue. Keep that in mind when estimating your time.
Skiing conditions
The slopes are well-groomed. Unfortunately, today’s weather down at Banderishka polyana and lower in the mountain, was very foggy. This week the menagment opened two new slopes- number 3 Plato 1 and number 7 Stara pista, so now we are looking forward to the pistes in the lower mountain to open.
CAUTION: Avalanche danger!
Due to the snowfall this week, the terrain up at the highest parts of the mountain is unstable. Kindly note, that skiing out of the marked areas is very dangerous.
